GAME CHANGER HACKS

FINDING COPYRIGHT-SAFE IMAGES

PICTURE THIS

You’re sitting in front of your laptop, racking your brain for something witty to post on social media that isn’t just another product post.

All of a sudden it hits you – those beach umbrellas that you’ve been trying to get rid of, you’re sure that the reason they haven’t sold is simply because the images that were supplied, were…. pretty much, crap.

So short of going and doing a whole photo shoot for a product you’d like to see the back of, how can you move those umbrellas (or any other stock for that matter).

Well I’m sure you already know, images are the easiest way to get people to buy, but those images don’t just need to be of the products – they need to show “the transformation”.

How will I, the customer,  look/think/feel when I buy the product.

This, my friend, is content marketing! And content marketing works much better (for retail/ecommerce store owners) when there are pictures involved.

So, how do you portray the transformation, when you don’t have thousands of dollars for models and photographers?

Simple!

Stock photography. More importantly, royalty free, copyright free images that you can safely use in your business.

You can’t just go and google “beach umbrellas” and use the picture that stands out the most. But the great thing is, there are sites that are specifically devoted to free, high quality images that you can safely use in your marketing.

Where can I use stock photos?

So you might be thinking, I’m still not sure where I would use these free images, Sal?

Never fear, here are just a handful of places you can utilise stock photos:
